CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: An exceptionally generous, bright, and sunny environment! This is the main secret behind this plant's abundant flowering and massive trunk (caudex): adenium is an absolute child of the sun. For it to bloom spectacularly and for the trunk to grow increasingly thicker, place it in the brightest spot in the room (it ABSOLUTELY requires direct sunlight). A south- or west-facing windowsill will be the perfect choice!

• 💧 Watering: Extremely infrequent, minimal, and very thoughtful - this plant is a pronounced succulent! Since its massive trunk functions as a powerful water reservoir, the plant absolutely does not tolerate constantly wet conditions. Water the plant thoroughly, but ONLY when the soil in the pot has dried out completely, 100%, all the way to the very bottom of the pot between waterings! The plant categorically cannot tolerate its roots and the base of its trunk soaking in stagnant water in the saucer, which can quickly cause rot. During the winter months, almost completely stop watering (water only a very small amount once every 1-1.5 months).

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Feels excellent and comfortable in sweltering warmth and even heat (+20°C to +30°C and above). This desert plant tolerates dry indoor air completely without problems, including the heat of the heating season, and requires no humidification whatsoever. Important rule: adeniums are pronounced heat lovers - protect them strictly from temperatures below +15°C and icy drafts in winter!

• 🐾 Keep away from pets and children: Adeniums belong to the oleander family, and the sap released from injured areas is highly toxic. It contains potent cardiac glycosides that are dangerous if they enter the digestive tract or come into contact with open wounds. Important botanical secret: As autumn and winter approach (or when experiencing stress/lack of light), an adenium may suddenly shed all its leaves and look like a bare little tree trunk. Don't panic! This is a completely natural dormancy period. Stop watering, and in spring, when the sun returns, it will produce new leaves and flower buds again. When you repot it in the future, be SURE to use a special, mineral-rich, sandy, and highly porous cactus/succulent soil mix (generously containing gravel, pumice, and perlite), ensuring maximum drainage.
