CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Hardy, but loves light! For 'Salmon Fantasy' to retain its beautiful, warm salmon-pink hues, it will do best in bright, but ESSENTIALLY indirect light (an east- or west-facing window). It can also survive in lower light, but in the shade its leaves will lose their vivid, rosy hue and become mostly dark green. Keep it strictly out of direct, scorching midday sunlight, which will quickly fade and scorch its colorful leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate and very careful – this plant will forgive you for forgetting, but never for drowning it! Water the plant generously, but ONLY when the top half of the soil (or even 2/3 of the pot's depth) has completely dried out. It absolutely cannot tolerate its roots sitting in standing water in the saucer. If the colorful leaves start turning completely yellow and soft en masse, it's a clear sign of overwatering and root rot.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: It thrives in comfortable room temperatures (+18°C to +24°C). This tropical survivor is exceptionally well adapted to dry indoor air and doesn't require special misting, but is extremely sensitive to cold! Keep it well away from icy drafts and never keep it in a room where the air temperature drops below +15°C.

• 🐾 Keep away from pets and children: All parts of Aglaonema plants contain calcium oxalate crystals, which are toxic. Chewing or swallowing them causes a strong burning sensation in the mouth, swelling, and digestive upset in dogs and cats.

⚠️ A note and a dose of reality about Aglaonemas: Plants are living organisms, and Aglaonemas are among the few plants that truly live up to the description "nearly indestructible", as long as you don't let their one weakness get the better of them - waterlogging in the pot. Important botanical fact: As the plant grows larger and gradually develops a thick stem, it is absolutely normal and natural for the very bottom, oldest leaf to turn yellow and wither from time to time. This is not a warning sign! Just trim it off. Remember - the brighter and more noticeable the pink (salmon-colored) pigment in the leaves, the more filtered light the plant will need to keep this unique color vibrant. When you repot it in the future, BE SURE to use a light, airy, well-draining houseplant potting mix (generously amended with perlite or fine pine bark).
