CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but MANDATORILY diffused light. Here lies the main secret of this plant’s stunning beauty: since the yellow and sunny zones of the leaves lack chlorophyll, the plant vitally needs a large amount of light (it will especially enjoy gentle morning or late evening sun) to maintain the contrasting variegation and prevent new leaves from simply turning green. However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will instantly burn those precious leaf parts. An east or west-facing windowsill is a perfect choice.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate and very thoughtful. Alocasias do not tolerate overly frequent watering or root soaking. Allow the top layer and the middle layer of the soil to dry out thoroughly between watering! Since the young plant is in a small 6 cm mini pot, it will dry out relatively quickly, but the plant absolutely cannot tolerate standing water in the saucer or decorative pot, which will quickly cause sensitive root and tuber rot.
