This extremely adorable, fluffy, and unique Succulent Cotyledon, famously known worldwide by the nickname "Bear's Paw," is one of the most sought-after and visually interesting succulents! It stands out with thick, fleshy leaves densely covered with fine, silvery-white hairs, creating a velvety texture. But its true charm lies in the shape of the leaves – they literally look like small, rounded bear paws, with "claws" (red or brown leaf teeth) that even color in the sun! CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Maximum bright light and direct sunlight. To keep the plant’s compact shape and for the leaf tips (the bear "claws") to develop their characteristic reddish tone, a large amount of sunlight is vital. A south or southwest-facing windowsill is absolutely ideal. In a dark place, it will stretch out and lose its appeal.

• 💧 Watering: Rare and very careful. Like a proper succulent, it requires a "thorough watering followed by complete drying" approach. Allow the soil to dry out completely throughout the pot’s depth between waterings. Important: when watering, be very careful to avoid getting water on the fluffy leaves! It absolutely cannot tolerate sitting in standing water in a tray, which will quickly cause stem rot.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at standard room temperature and literally loves normal, dry indoor air. This plant must never be misted to avoid fungal diseases and leaf rot! During the winter dormancy period, reduce watering to a minimum and it will appreciate a slightly cooler room (around 10–15°C).

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. Although it is not as lethally toxic as some other houseplants, Cotyledon contains substances that can cause digestive upset and vomiting in cats and dogs if chewed. Keep it out of reach of your pets!

🏠 BEST LOCATION:

• Sunny windowsill in the living room or kitchen (where it can enjoy direct sunlight and delight with its coloration).

• Bright desk near a window (as a relaxing and visually appealing work companion).

• Children’s room (placed on a higher shelf, as children usually love this interesting natural design).

If a leaf does fall off, don’t worry – place it on dry soil next to the mother plant, and over time it may sprout new roots. Under the right conditions in summer, it may pleasantly surprise you by blooming with delicate, orange-red or yellowish bell-shaped flowers!
