This charming and extremely rare Crassula 'Rusby Variegata' is a true gem in the world of succulents. It stands out with its compact, rosette-like growth form and stunning leaf coloration. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Maximum bright light and direct sunlight. To maintain the beautiful variegation and for the leaf edges to develop the famous pinkish-red color, it needs a lot of sun. A south or southwest-facing windowsill is an absolutely ideal choice. In a darker spot, the leaves will turn completely green, and the plant will quickly stretch out, losing its compact form.

• 💧 Watering: Very rare and cautious. Like other desert dwellers, allow the soil to dry out completely (down to the bottom of the pot) between waterings. Overwatering and standing water are this plant’s biggest enemies, causing root and stem rot within just a few days. During the winter dormancy period, watering should be reduced to an absolute minimum.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at standard room temperature and literally loves normal, dry indoor air. It must not be misted, as water droplets between the fleshy leaves can promote rot! In summer, it will be extremely happy if you take it outside into the sun on a terrace or balcony (in fresh air and sunlight it will become even redder and denser).

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. Like most crassulas (for example, the classic "money tree"), this one is toxic to cats and dogs. If leaves are chewed, it can cause digestive irritation, nausea, and vomiting, so keep it out of reach of curious pets.

🏠 BEST LOCATION:

• Sunny south-facing windowsill in the living room or bedroom (where the plant will get maximum sun for its red and pink coloration).

• Bright and modern office (as a compact, unobtrusive, yet very aesthetic design element requiring minimal attention).

• Sunny balcony or terrace in summer (during warm months it will thrive outside and gather energy for winter).

If necessary, if the plant starts to stretch and elongate searching for light, its tips can safely be trimmed in spring and very easily rooted in dry cactus soil!
