CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Maximum bright light and direct sunlight. To develop and maintain its stunning burgundy red color, it vitally needs a lot of sun! In too dark a place, new leaves will grow much paler and simply green.

• 💧 Watering: Abundant and very regular. The banana plant is known as a big "drinker" because a lot of moisture evaporates through its massive leaves. During the active growing season (spring and summer), keep the soil constantly moist, but always drain excess water from the saucer to prevent root rot. Watering is significantly reduced in winter months.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and literally adores high air humidity! In dry indoor air, its leaf tips may start to brown. In warm summer months, it is highly recommended to take this plant outside into the sun and fresh air on the terrace or garden. Protect it from cold drafts and frost (in winter, the minimum temperature should not drop below 10–12°C).

• 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly. This spectacular tropical giant is non-toxic and completely safe in your home with curious cats and dogs.

🏠 BEST LOCATION:

• Sunny terrace, balcony, or garden in summer (the absolutely best place where it can freely spread, grow rapidly, and enjoy natural sunlight).

• Spacious and sunny living room (as an absolute centerpiece and "wow" effect, provided there are large windows).

• Bright veranda or conservatory (where the plant will have enough space and light even in cooler months).

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen may slightly differ from the description. Important to know: it is completely normal and natural for banana plants’ massive leaves to tear along the veins in wind or drafts – this helps the plant protect itself from strong gusts and gives an even more natural, wild jungle look! Also, expect that during growth, the lower, older leaves will gradually turn yellow and wither, providing energy to the newer leaves that continuously unfurl spirally from the center of the stem. You can confidently and regularly trim off the old leaves.
