• ☀️ Light: Loves a bright spot, but must be protected from direct midday sun rays, which can burn the leaves. Morning or evening sun is ideal.

• 💧 Watering: Unlike desert cacti, this forest cactus prefers more moisture. Water moderately, allowing the top layer of soil to dry out slightly between waterings, but not completely dry.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Feels good at room temperature. The plant will appreciate regular misting, especially in warm months, as it naturally grows in moist forests.

• 🐾 Pets: Friendly – epiphyllums are generally not toxic to pets, but it is always advisable to monitor your pets' interest in plants.

• Tall bookshelf (so leaves and flowers can hang freely downward).

• Hanging pot by the window (on the east or west side).

• Bright living room (as a stylish, green accent).
