• ☀️ Light: Bright but diffused light. For the epiphyllum to grow strong and be able to bloom in the future, it needs a large amount of light. However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will quickly burn its flat stems and turn them reddish-brown or yellow. An east or west-facing windowsill is an absolutely great choice. Morning or evening sun will be very welcome!

• 💧 Watering: Regular and moderate. Important to know: since this is a tropical (not desert) cactus, it requires more water than ordinary cacti, especially in spring and summer. Keep the soil evenly lightly moist, but allow the surface layer to dry slightly between watering. It absolutely cannot tolerate root soaking in standing water in the saucer! In winter (dormant period), reduce watering significantly, but do not allow the plant to dry out completely and for a long time.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Feels great at warm room temperature during the active growing season. In summer, this cactus can safely be taken outside into fresh air (in a shaded place, for example, under a tree branch or on a terrace).
