This extremely stunning and attention-grabbing Ficus 'Snowstorm' (translation – "Snowstorm") fully lives up to its name! It stands out with a striking and rich leaf variegation – its leaves are so generously covered with bright white, cream, and light green patches that they literally look snow-covered or delicately dusted. Currently, it is a very small baby plant (seedling), but with proper and patient care, it will grow into a wonderful, dense, and spatial houseplant that will add an airy, elegant, and very unusual natural accent to any interior. It is a very photogenic and aesthetic gift for any plant lover who appreciates white tones in the plant world and is ready to observe the classic "natural quirks" of ficuses!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but diffused light. Here lies the main secret to this plant’s beauty and survival: the white parts of the leaves contain no chlorophyll, so this plant needs much more light to survive than ordinary dark green plants. However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching sunlight, which will instantly burn its light leaves. An east or west-facing windowsill is an absolutely excellent choice.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate and very careful! Ficus plants are extremely sensitive to both overwatering and drying out. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between watering. It absolutely cannot tolerate roots sitting in standing water in the saucer, which will cause massive leaf drop and root rot within just a few days.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at standard room temperature. Ficus strongly dislikes sudden temperature changes and cold drafts, so in winter be sure to protect it from open windows during ventilation. The plant will be very happy with increased air humidity, but its leaves should not be misted to avoid fungal diseases.

• 🐾 Pets: Strictly not pet-friendly. Ficus releases a white, sticky sap (latex) that is toxic to both cats and dogs. Chewing or contact with mucous membranes causes strong irritation and digestive problems. Keep it absolutely out of reach of your pets!

🏠 MOST SUITABLE ROOM:

• A bright and calm spot in the living room or office (where the plant won’t be frequently touched, moved from place to place, or exposed to drafts).

• A bright and warm spot in a direct plant display case or next to a humidifier.

⚠️ Note and reality check about seedlings: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and the intensity of its white leaf "snowstorm" pattern may vary. It is extremely important to keep in mind that you are receiving a seedling (a baby in an 8 cm pot)! Small plants require much gentler and more attentive handling than mature plants. It is important to know nature’s secrets: ficuses are known for their "dramatic" nature – when stressed (location change, drafts, or overwatering), they often theatrically drop leaves. If it drops a few leaves when you bring it home – don’t panic! Find it one ideal, bright spot and do not move or rotate it anymore – soon it will settle in and start growing new leaves. When repotting, use airy, nutrient-rich houseplant soil mixed generously with perlite for perfect drainage.
