Fittonia 10

Fittonia (Fittonia)

This charming and delicate Fittonia, often called the "nerve plant" because of its striking, delicate leaf veins, is a true wonder of color and natural patterns. This is an ideal, compact, and highly decorative houseplant that will add a noticeable, cheerful accent to any interior with its bright pink, white, or red leaves. It's a wonderful and very "chatty" gift for nature lovers, because Fittonia will never let you forget to water it - when thirsty, it will dramatically droop its leaves, but just a few hours after watering, they'll perk right back up!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: A bright spot with indirect light or partial shade. To maintain its beautiful, contrasting leaf veins, the plant needs light, but it must be kept strictly out of direct sunlight, which will quickly fade and scorch its delicate leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Regular. Keep the soil consistently and evenly moist, but don't let the roots sit in mud. Fittonia won't tolerate prolonged drying out. When you notice the plant's leaves starting to droop and bend down, that's a sure sign it needs a drink right away.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and very high humidity. The plant will be extremely grateful for regular, fine misting (especially in the dry air of the heating season) or a humidifier. Protect it from cold drafts!

• 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly. This vibrant natural wonder is non-toxic and completely safe to have at home with cats and dogs.

🏠 BEST ROOM:

• A glass florarium or plant terrarium (an absolutely ideal environment for providing the tropical humidity the plant needs so much).

• A bathroom with a window (the plant will literally enjoy the natural warmth and humidity there).

• A desk in a shadier part of the room (as a small, colorful, motivating touch to brighten your workday).

SPECIFICATIONS:

• Height: 10-15 cm

• Pot diameter: 8.5 cm
