Royal Haworthia (Haworthia)

Get ready to bring absolute botanical resilience into your home or onto your desk, the geometry of nature, and one of the most rewarding and architectural succulents in the world of houseplants - the stunning Haworthia (Haworthia)! This South African desert masterpiece is a real find for lovers of subtle textures, minimalism, and unusual shapes. The plant's greatest pride, its magnet and unmistakable calling card, is its breathtaking foliage: its extremely fleshy, thick and firm leaves are arranged in a perfectly dense, symmetrical star or rosette shape. Depending on the particular variety, they may be adorned with delicate, white bumps or even unique, naturally formed "transparent windows." At present, this is a perfectly formed, strong and notably dense 5–10 cm plant (which will form a large cluster of offsets, or a family, over time) in a generous 12 cm pot. It is the most prestigious, tasteful and reliable gift for blessing a home, busy office workers, beginner plant enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a visually striking, yet completely self-sufficient natural wonder!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • ☀️ Light: Bright, but DEFINITELY indirect light. Unlike cacti, the haworthia categorically cannot tolerate direct, scorching midday sun. In excessively strong, hot sun, its beautiful leaves will turn reddish-brown, grayish, or pale, and may dry out. An east- or west-facing windowsill will be absolutely ideal.

  • 💧 Watering: Extremely infrequent, minimal, and very careful! This plant is a true succulent, which stores all the water it needs exceptionally well in its fleshy leaves and thick roots. Water the plant thoroughly, but ONLY when the soil in the pot is completely, 100% dry all the way to the bottom of the pot! Most importantly: NEVER pour water directly into the center of the rosette (onto the leaves), as standing water in the leaf axils will quickly cause the plant to rot from the inside. It is best to water it from below.

  • 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: They thrive in regular, comfortable room temperatures (+18°C to +25°C). This desert plant tolerates dry indoor air with absolutely no problem, the heat of the heating season, and requires absolutely no misting.

  • 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly / Non-toxic. Haworthias are completely non-toxic and absolutely safe to have in your home with curious cats and dogs.

🏠 BEST ROOM:

  • Light-colored desks, computer desks, bookshelves and narrow windowsills, where this structured, patient plant will catch the eye, without taking up much space.

  • Modern, minimalist, Japanese (zen) or "urban jungle" style interiors, where clean natural forms and expressive textures create absolute visual harmony.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Height: 5–10 cm

  • Pot diameter: 12 cm

⚠️ A note and a reality check about haworthias: Plants are living organisms, and when growing any haworthia, you need to understand its growth rhythm - they grow extremely slowly! This means the plant will retain its compact size for years, slowly filling the pot with new offsets. Haworthias have remarkably thick, fleshy roots. The biggest risk to this plant is overwatering. If the leaves start to turn yellow, become "jelly-like", translucent and rot at the base - you are drowning the plant, and the roots have most likely died. On the other hand, if the firm leaves become sunken, wrinkled, noticeably thinner and start curling inward, the plant is simply thirsty (give it a thorough watering, and they will become firm again). When you repot it in the future, be SURE to use a special, highly mineralized, coarse cactus/succulent potting mix, generously blended with gravel, pumice or perlite.

🌡️ COLD TIME! If the outside temperature is below +5°C, be sure to add a heat pack to the order so that plants and predatory mites do not freeze on the way.

❄️ In cold weather, we recommend choosing Smartpost parcel lockers, as they provide indoor delivery, reducing the impact of low temperatures on the shipment.

⚠️ Important about the heating element! ‼️ 1 heating element per 1 order – it is not necessary to put one for each plant. ‼️ Provides heat for up to 72 hours. Without a heating element – we do not take responsibility for frozen plants and predatory mites.

📦 Pick it up promptly! When the package has been delivered, collect it the same day. Do not leave the package in the parcel locker overnight! Cold and heat can damage the plants and predatory mites.
