Haworthia fasciata Concolor

Royal Spotted Haworthia 'Concolor' (Haworthia fasciata 'Concolor' / Haworthiopsis attenuata 'Concolor')

Get ready to bring absolute botanical minimalism and a true miniature “starry sky” effect into your home, office, or workspace - the stunning Spotted Haworthia 'Concolor'! This exclusive South African masterpiece of nature is a refined variation of the classic zebra haworthia, radically different because of its unique pattern. The plant’s greatest pride, magnet, and unmistakable signature is its breathtaking silhouette: firm, fleshy, pointed dark emerald-green leaves are arranged in a dense, star-shaped rosette, decorated not with stripes but with countless snow-white dots (tubercles), densely and evenly scattered across them. This pearl-dust or starry-night-like pattern makes it an exceptionally elegant and delicate design micro-accent. It is currently a neatly grown, strong, notably dense, and highly promising 10 cm tall plant in a compact 8.5 cm pot. It is the most prestigious, tasteful, and reliable gift for a blessed home, busy office workers, beginner plant enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a visually striking yet completely self-sufficient natural wonder!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, generous light, preferably filtered. This is the main secret behind the plant’s bright white dots and good health: the haworthia will love gentle morning or afternoon sunlight (an east- or west-facing windowsill). Strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sunlight, which can quickly burn its fleshy leaves and turn them an unattractive reddish-brown or purple stress color.

• 💧 Watering: Extremely infrequent, minimal, and very careful - this plant is a hardy succulent whose thick leaves are full of water reserves! Water the plant thoroughly, but ONLY when the soil in the pot is completely, 100% dry all the way down to the very bottom of the pot! Haworthia can withstand weeks of drought, but it absolutely cannot tolerate having its roots soak in standing water in the saucer. Always drain away excess water; otherwise, the roots will literally rot within a couple of days. Reduce watering drastically in winter.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: It feels excellent and comfortable at normal room temperatures (+18°C to +25°C). This plant tolerates dry indoor air without any problems, the heat of the heating season, and requires no misting or air humidification whatsoever.

• 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly / Non-toxic. Like other haworthias, the 'Concolor' cultivar is completely non-toxic and absolutely safe to keep in your home with curious cats and dogs.

🏠 MOST SUITABLE LOCATION:

• Bright desks, narrow shelves, children’s rooms, and coffee tables, where this delicately spotted micro-accent will attract attention without taking up much space.

• Modern, minimalist, Scandinavian, or eclectic interiors, where clean geometric lines and delicate natural textures create visual order.

SPECIFICATIONS:

• Height: 10 cm

⚠️ Note and a dose of reality about haworthias: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and the precise density of its white pearls are completely unique works of nature. An important botanical fact: Haworthias are incredibly slow-growing. Do not be surprised if the plant seems not to change size for months - this is normal and means that it is developing peacefully. If the tips of the leaves suddenly begin to dry out and turn brown (or, even worse, the leaves become soft and translucent), this is a clear sign that the plant has been overwatered and its roots are drowning. When you repot it in the future, you MUST use a special mineralized, sandy, and highly porous cactus/succulent soil mix (rich in gravel and perlite) to ensure rapid drainage. Ordinary houseplant peat will quickly kill this plant!
