Hibiscus or Chinese Rose (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis)

This stunning and evergreen Hibiscus, commonly known as the Chinese rose, is a true classic among houseplants that never goes out of style. It stands out with its shiny, dark green leaves and absolutely breathtaking, large, funnel-shaped flowers that bring a genuine tropical island atmosphere to any room. Although each individual flower only delights for one or two days, a healthy and happy plant produces them one after another throughout the entire season. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright light and direct sunlight (especially morning or afternoon). For the Chinese rose to bloom abundantly, it needs a lot of light. In too dark a place, the plant will develop beautiful green foliage but will refuse to form flower buds.

• 💧 Watering: Generous during the active growth and flowering period (spring, summer). Keep the soil evenly moist, but do not let the roots sit in standing water in the saucer. Important: drying out or very uneven watering is the most common reason why hibiscus suddenly drops its unopened flower buds! Reduce watering slightly during the winter months.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and thrives at standard room temperature. In summer, the plant will be delighted to rest outdoors in fresh air (on a sunny balcony or garden). It will appreciate regular air misting, but try not to spray water directly on the delicate flowers to avoid damage. Protect it strictly from cold drafts during winter ventilation!

• 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly. This exotic and flowering beauty is non-toxic and completely safe to have in your home with cats and dogs.

🏠 BEST ROOM:

• Bright and sunny living room (a cheerful and flowering central accent in the room, as you can see).

• Sunny balcony or terrace in summer (outdoors in warm months it will grow especially lush and healthy).

• Bright office (will bring energy and summery colors to the work environment).
