Monkey Tail Cactus (Hildewintera colademonon)

Discover one of nature’s most amusing masterpieces – the Monkey Tail Cactus. Its long, hanging stems are covered with soft, white spines that resemble a fluffy coat, making this plant incredibly charming and pleasant to touch (unlike most cacti!). This is an excellent interior element that will add playfulness to any room, and it is an unforgettable gift that will surprise anyone with its exotic appearance and bright pink flowers.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • ☀️ Light: Direct sunlight or very bright light. For the cactus to grow lush and fluffy, it needs maximum illumination.

  • 💧 Watering: Water sparingly. The soil must dry out completely between waterings. Watering is almost completely stopped in winter.

  • 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Likes warmth and dry air. Misting is not necessary – moisture can harm its "coat".

  • 🐾 Pets: Friendly. Unlike many other houseplants, this cactus is not poisonous, and its spines are soft.

🏠 MOST SUITABLE ROOM

  • Hanging pot by a sunny window, where its "tails" can freely grow downward.

  • South-facing windowsill, providing the necessary sunbath.

  • Bright living room, placed on a high shelf as a unique design accent.
