This extremely romantic, stunning, and legendary Wax Plant 'Krimson Queen' is a true classic houseplant that delights with its fabulous leaf variegation! The main and unique feature of this variety is the leaf coloration – the center is bright green, while the edges are adorned with wide, cream-colored or snow-white stripes. A special joy is watching its new shoots, which often bloom in bright pink or even raspberry red tones in strong light! Under the right conditions, it can delight you with wonderful, star-shaped flower clusters (in a gentle pink color) that look as if made of wax and emit a pleasant, sweet fragrance in the evenings. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but diffused light. For the Hoya to maintain its fantastic variegation and produce pink new leaves, it needs a large amount of light. In too dark a place, the plant may start losing the white edges and become greener. Strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will quickly burn the white (chlorophyll-free) leaf areas.

• 💧 Watering: Rare and very careful. Hoya leaves are thick and fleshy (they store water like succulents), so they tolerate drying out much better than overwatering! Allow the soil to almost completely dry out between watering. It absolutely cannot tolerate root soaking in standing water in the saucer, which will quickly cause root rot and plant death.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at standard room temperature and adapts well to normal indoor light. Since this is a tropical plant, it won’t mind slightly increased humidity, but it should not be excessively misted. Strictly protect from cold drafts!

• 🐾 Pets: Friendly. This stunning vine is non-toxic and completely safe in your home with curious cats and dogs.

🏠 MOST SUITABLE LOCATION:

• Bright shelf or hanging pot (allowing its colorful, pink tendrils to hang freely downwards).

• Bright windowsill (if you plan to provide a support for it to climb and form a lush, vertical shape).

• Bedroom or living room (as a safe and visually soft interior addition).

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and its leaf variegation may slightly differ from the description. Important to know the secrets of nature about Hoyas: they characteristically suddenly produce long, "bare" tendrils without leaves. Never cut these off! New leaves and flower clusters will eventually grow on these tendrils. Also remember – when the Hoya has finished flowering, do not cut off the old flower stalk, because next year new flowers will form from the same stalk! When repotting, be sure to use very light and loose soil (houseplant soil mixed generously with orchid bark and perlite works great) so the epiphytic roots can breathe freely.
