CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but MANDATORILY diffused light. Here lies the main secret of this plant’s snow-white glow: since the cream-colored areas of the leaves contain very little chlorophyll, the plant vitally needs a large amount of light (it will especially enjoy the gentle morning or late evening sun rays) to maintain the expressive, contrasting marble pattern and prevent new leaves from simply unfolding green. However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will instantly and irreversibly burn its delicate white leaves. An east or west-facing windowsill is a perfect choice.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate and very thoughtful. Philodendrons do not tolerate overly frequent watering and root soaking. Water only when the topsoil and the middle layer (the upper third of the pot) between waterings are completely dry! Since the plant is in a stable 12 cm pot, it will retain moisture a bit longer, so the plant absolutely cannot tolerate root soaking in standing water in the saucer, which will quickly cause root rot. If in doubt – feel free to wait a few more days.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: A warmth-loving tropical resident (ideally +18°C to +25°C), which, thanks to its thick leaves, adapts relatively well to normal indoor light. Of course, it will be very happy with increased air humidity (above 50-60%), which helps the new, grand leaves open even more easily, without cracks, and protects the light leaf edges from premature drying. It will appreciate a spot near a humidifier. In winter, strictly protect it from cold drafts!

• 🐾 Pets: Keep away from pets. Like all philodendrons, 'Snowdrift' contains calcium oxalate crystals, which are toxic to cats and dogs if chewed. Place this magnificent plant out of reach of your four-legged friends.

When repotting in the future, be sure to use an extremely airy, porous, and loose aroid soil mix (generously mixed with perlite, coconut chips, and fine orchid bark) so the roots can breathe freely and excess water drains instantly through the pot.
