• ☀️ Light: Versatile and exceptionally undemanding! This is where the secret of this plant’s phenomenal strength lies: 'Fernwood Mikado' thrives best in bright, indirect light (which makes the silvery pattern on its leaves especially striking), but it also adapts excellently and flawlessly to deep partial shade and artificial lighting. It is an ideal choice for rooms with limited sunlight. Protect it from direct, scorching midday sun.

• 💧 Watering: Extremely infrequent, minimal, and thoroughly considered—this plant thrives best when you “forget” to water it. Since its thick, succulent leaves act as water reservoirs, the plant does not tolerate constant moisture. Water the plant only when the soil in the pot has dried out completely, 100%, all the way to the bottom of the pot between waterings! As the plant is in a 9 cm pot, it will dry out moderately, so it categorically cannot tolerate its roots or the center of the rosette standing in stagnant water in the saucer, which can quickly cause rot.
