CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Universal and bold – it adapts to almost anything, but here lies the main secret to this plant’s yellow borders: for the 'Laurentii' snake plant to maintain its vivid, contrasting yellow edge and prevent the leaves from becoming simply dull and dark, it needs plenty of bright, indirect light. It also tolerates direct sunlight very well, which helps maintain leaf firmness. However, this plant is famously resilient and will also withstand partial shade or more distant corners of a room without any problems, making it an exceptionally versatile interior element.

• 💧 Watering: Extremely infrequent, minimal, and careful – this plant thrives best when it is occasionally “forgotten.” Since its thick, fibrous leaves and strong rhizomes act as water reservoirs, the plant does not tolerate living in constantly waterlogged soil. Water the plant only when the soil in the pot has dried out completely, 100%, all the way to the bottom between waterings! Since the specimen is in a stable 12 cm pot, it will retain moisture slightly longer, so the plant categorically cannot tolerate its roots soaking in standing water in the saucer, which can quickly cause root rot. In winter, reduce watering to once a month. If in doubt – never water!

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Feels perfectly comfortable in warmth and room temperatures (+18°C to +27°C). Thanks to its waxy, firm structure, this snake plant handles dry indoor air completely without problems, including the heat of the heating season, and requires no misting or additional humidity. The only rule: protect it from temperatures below +12°C and icy drafts in winter. The leaves can be wiped occasionally with a damp cloth to remove dust.

When you repot it in the future, you MUST use a special mineralized, sandy, highly porous cactus/succulent soil mix (generously containing grit and perlite) to ensure that excess water drains through the pot instantly and the roots always remain dry and healthy.
