CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, diffused light. To maintain the beautiful, round leaves and prevent the plant from stretching, it needs plenty of light. However, it must be strictly protected from direct, scorching sunlight, which will instantly burn its delicate leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Very cautious! Since the tuber is the plant’s water reservoir, water only when the soil is completely dry. Overwatering is the biggest enemy of this plant and will quickly rot the caudex. When watering, try to pour water along the pot’s edge, not directly onto the tuber itself.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and will appreciate increased humidity, especially in spring when it wakes from dormancy and pushes new shoots. Once the leaves have grown, it tolerates standard room air well. Protect from cold drafts!

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. The plant is toxic to cats and dogs if eaten or chewed, causing digestive irritation and other issues.

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and the shape of the tuber itself may slightly differ from the picture shown. Important to know: Stefania has a natural winter dormancy period. In winter (or stressful situations), the plant will completely shed all its beautiful leaves and vines, leaving only the bare tuber in the pot – this is completely normal and the plant is not dead! During this dormancy period, watering should be almost completely stopped. In spring, with warmth and light, the tuber will wake up again and sprout new green shoots.
