This special, rare variety of tradescantia stands out with much smaller, densely growing leaves adorned with a stunning fine stripe pattern – elegantly blending snow-white, cream, and soft green tones, which in bright light may also feature subtle violet or pinkish accents. Since this is still a very small plant (a little one) in a small pot, you have a great opportunity to watch with your own eyes how it rapidly grows and transforms into a unique, richly colorful, and trailing houseplant. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but diffused light. To maintain the tradescantia’s stunning white stripe contrast and keep it very compact, it needs a vital amount of light! In too dark a place, it will quickly stretch out, and the leaves will lose their bright variegation and become simply green. However, protect it from very harsh midday sun rays, which can quickly burn the thin and light leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate and thoughtful. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings. Since the plant is in a very small (6 cm) pot, the soil will dry out much faster than in larger houseplants, so moisture levels need to be checked more often. When watering, be careful not to splash the dense leaves unnecessarily – tradescantias prefer to drink from below (pour water into the saucer and then drain the excess). They hate sitting in stagnant water!

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives well at standard room temperature and tolerates normal, dry indoor air. This plant does not need misting, as excess moisture between the dense leaves can quickly cause rot. Keep strictly away from cold drafts!

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. The plant is toxic to cats and dogs. Its sap, if chewed, can cause oral and skin irritation, increased salivation, and mild digestive issues. Keep it out of reach of your pets!

🏠 MOST SUITABLE LOCATION:

• Bright desk or small shelf (thanks to its current mini size, it fits perfectly even on a cluttered desk and serves as a cheerful design accent).

• Bright and sunny windowsill (where there is plenty of light to maintain and further highlight the leaf stripes).

• Hanging pot in the future (when the little one grows, it will form a wonderful, dense foliage that will hang over the pot edges).

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and its leaf variegation may vary slightly. Important to know: tradescantias are extremely fast-growing plants. Very soon (when the roots fill the small pot), the plant will need repotting into a slightly larger pot with airy soil. To prevent the plant from stretching and to encourage denser growth, pinch it – feel free to pinch or cut the tips of the longest branches! This will stimulate the plant to become bushier, and the cuttings can be quickly rooted in a glass of water or directly in the soil next to the mother plant.
