CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, diffused light with some direct morning or evening sun rays! Here lies the main secret of this plant’s beauty: to maintain its beautiful, soft pink and creamy white coloring, it needs a large amount of light. If there is too little light, the leaves will turn completely green, dull, and the shoots will grow leggy and unattractive.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate and thoughtful. Tradescantia likes evenly slightly moist soil during active growth. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out a bit between watering. It absolutely cannot tolerate root rot caused by standing water in the saucer, which will quickly cause fragile stem and root rot!

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives well at standard room temperature and adapts easily to normal, dry indoor air (no need to mist, as water on the dense leaves can promote fungal diseases). In warm summer months, this plant can be safely taken outside into fresh air, but in winter protect it firmly from icy drafts.

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. The plant’s sap contains substances that can cause skin and oral irritation, redness, and digestive issues in cats and dogs. Keep it out of reach of your pets!

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and its amount of pink shoots may vary slightly. It is important to know nature’s secrets: the delicate stems of tradescantia are very fragile and tend to break easily – handle them gently! If a branch breaks or the plant becomes "bare" at the base over time and loses its fullness, do not hesitate to prune it boldly! Pruning will stimulate the plant to become bushy again, and the cut stems can simply be stuck back into moist soil in the same pot (or placed in a glass of water), where they will root literally within a few days. When repotting, use standard, airy houseplant soil with good drainage at the bottom of the pot.
