CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, diffused light. To maintain the beautiful dark pitcher coloration, the plant needs plenty of light (morning or evening sun is ideal), but be sure to protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which can burn the leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Special! The soil should be kept consistently moist but not overly wet (roots must not sit in standing water for long). Absolutely essential: use only rainwater, distilled, or reverse osmosis water for watering. The minerals in regular tap water will quickly kill this bog plant.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and high air humidity. If the indoor air is too dry, the plant will stop producing new pitchers, and the old ones will quickly wither. The plant will greatly appreciate a humidifier nearby or regular misting of the air around it with distilled water.

• 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly. This exotic insect hunter is non-toxic and completely safe to have around cats and dogs in your home.

🏠 BEST ROOM:

• Bathroom with a window (the plant will literally adore the naturally high tropical humidity there).

• Hanging in a pot or on a stand near an east/west window (where its dark pitchers can hang freely and attract attention).

• Plant display case or glass cabinet (ideal environment if the indoor air is very dry).
